Components

Controller

The Controller is essentially what holds all the information to make the jacket function the way we intend for it to. It is comprised of 2 main parts, one being the Controller itself and the other being the Controller Battery. The Controller Battery is really just a power supply. The Controller will be located in the right chest jacket pocket.

The Controller has 4 inputs that plug into it.

  • (1) The Button – the medium sized input. (4 Pins)
  • (2) The Drone – the large input. (5 Pins)
  • (3) The right wrist device – the small input. (2 Pins)
  • (4) The Controller also has a permanently attached wire on it that plugs into our charger. This will be referred to as the Controller Charger Input.

Drone

This is just a larger group of batteries. This is the main power supply for the jacket. The Drone will be located in the left chest jacket pocket.

The Drone has 2 inputs to plug into it.

  • (1) The Controller – the large input. (5 Pins)
  • (2) The left wrist device – the small input. (2 Pins)

Installation

Controller

Locate the right chest jacket pocket (1) and unzip the PU pocket. Locate the 3 wires and these will be used to plug into the Controller. If there is trouble locating the 3 wires, there is Velcro towards the back of the pocket that you may separate if the need to reach little deeper in the jacket . (Loosening the Velcro is a great way to not only make sure every wire is accounted for, but once your Controller is installed you can make sure the wires don’t shift by re-securing the Velcro.)

Plug each wire into the designated Controller inputs. Once each wire is secure, push the Controller into the right chest pocket and leave just enough room so that the Controller Charger Input can hang just below the zipper line.

Drone

Locate the left chest jacket pocket (2) and unzip the PU pocket. Locate 2 wires and these will be used to plug into the Drone. If there is trouble locating the 2 wires, the Velcro towards the back of the pocket can separate to reach deeper in the jacket. (Loosening the Velcro is a great way to not only make sure every wire is accounted for, but once your Drone is installed you can make sure the wires don’t shift by re-securing the Velcro.)

Plug each wire into the designated Drone inputs. Once each wire is secure, push the Drone into the left chest pocket, and zip it shut.

Charging

Charger

The My Core Control Jacket comes with a Charger that can be found in the Lower Right Pocket of the jacket. (1)

Charging the My Core Control Jacket is very simple. Simply plug the charger that you received with the jacket into an outlet. You’ll then need to take your jacket and plug the Charger Adapter Cable (2) into the Controller Charger Input (3). (Refer to the Components section to locate the Controller Charger Input.)

A Pulsing green light will appear on the My Core Control Button (4), indicating that the jacket is now charging. (If the My Core Control Button does not pulse with a green light, refer to the Components and Installation sections to make sure the components are properly connected.)

Operation

Once the My Core Control jacket is charged quickly press and release the My Core Control Button (1) to control the heat of the jacket. The heating elements located in the left and right wrists of the jacket will begin heating. (It should take approximately 10 minutes to reach the desired temperature, but could take longer depending on charge and atmospheric temperatures.)

Off | 3 Second Hold Until Light Turns Red
Press and hold the My Core Control Button for 3 Seconds. (A Solid Red Light will appear for 1 second and then turn off. The jacket is now off and will no longer heat, though any residual heat from use will still be noticeable afterwards.)

Washing

When washing a My Core Control Jacket, simply remove the Controller and Drone from the jacket and make sure to zip the pockets back up. Make sure the Controller and Drone are not inside the jacket when you wash it.

We recommend hand wash / air dry or dry cleaning.

Once cleaning is done, you may then reinstall your Controller and Drone.
